Annual Reports are usually a thing accountants and score-keepers get enthusiastic about, but seldom other people, I would have thought.

But in the case of the 2014-2015 Annual Report (Rotary International The Rotary Foundation), it has much to commend a skim through, at the very least.

I particularly like this statement in the introduction; “We are a membership organisation of more than 1.2 million neighbours, friends, and community leaders who join together to share ideas and take action to bring positive, lasting change to individuals and communities at home and around the world.”

Did you know there are 35,114 clubs and that Rotary membership is increasing. All of this helps more Rotarians to use Rotary grants to carry out worthwhile projects. Just one example is USD$19.8m made available for disease prevention and treatment.

If you'd like to see more for yourself, I recommend you take a look at the Annual Report and please give me your feedback - click on the cover at top right.
